" I would like to share about my passion for skeet shooting . I am commander (pilot )with Air india ,i am into this profession since 2005 . I am always very passionate about skeet shooting. I started skeet shooting on 9 April 2015 ,under the guidance of Coach PS sodhi . In 2015 won a gold medal in mavlankar championship held at jaipur Gold medal in 2017 NZ championship held at Patiala . Gold medal in 2018 NZ championship held at New delhi. Gold medal in South Delhi Mangla cup . In 2019 National Championship qualified for the Trials for the Indian National Team. I ve started training with Mairaj since Sep 2017 onwards.He is a very Hard working and passionate sportsmen as far as skeet shooting is concerned.He s put up lot of effort to train us and always helped and guided us .He believes in “Never give up“ “attitude and believes nothing is impossible ,Under his guidance am able to learn and understand finer concepts of skeet shooting, but still its a long way to go for me to understand and master this game which am sure will be possible one day under the guidance of mairaj bhai.I ve also won various medals under his supervision I consider myself the luckiest to train under mairaj the only person who ll be representing India twice in olympics for the game of skeet shooting. Mairaj sir is exactly the same as described above .He himself set such an outstanding ground for students by his dedication towards shooting. Modesty, calmness are his stars of his personality. "I started training with Mr. MAKK about 8 years ago in those hot summer days of Delhi. He’d come out in the scorching heat, give an occasional kick in the bum, explain what went wrong and made me break the target gracefully. Skeet was as easy as it could get, almost felt like throwing a few hundred pellets in front of the target to get the job done, no rocket science! Mairaj lives the sport, listening and watching him made the sport feel like a mesmerising biomechanical task with the same result every time, “A kill!”. He’d always make me visualise a perfect round of skeet before I hit the bed and I’d be asleep before I could reach the dreaded Station 4. A young kid had a huge role model, I still get coaxed for copying his email address. The discipline and mental techniques I learnt while on the field with Mairaj have helped me shine through my years at the university. Those kicks propelled me on my path, working as an Officer with the Ministry now, I still fear them!"

"I started skeet , shooting recently in 2017 and been twice a renowned shot. I started training under Mairaj sir's guidance in 2018 though it had been a short training period but satisfying as I enhanced my score from shooting 36/75 to 90/125 in the national championship . Mounting in lead was much clearer. Apart from technicality, sir is punctual."

"Mairaj started coaching me in August 2012.
In the blistering heat and fasting during Ramadan he worked with us very hard indeed. He taught us Skeet. From a 2-3 birds per round shooter we left his 10 day camp reaching to a level of 18-19 per round.
Just before our first tournament the 2012 North Zone he sent a personal message of encouragement - Shahid Bhai shoot well, technically you are the best.
The following year I scored 2nd highest in AIGVM championships and have been renowned shot every year from 2014 to 2018.
Even now in times of trouble he is always there to help me.
He has trained dozens of youngsters taking them to levels of excellence in the very first year of training.
After his own training with Eninio Falco he introduced new techniques like Begining to come back pendulum movement."
